With FUNARTE's office finished, Casa was instrumental in helping FUNARTE finish a nearby workshop space for mural art activities with local, low-income and underprivileged children.  

In January 2008, students and teachers from St. Augustine Catholic Secondary School (Brampton, ON Canada) helped raise the back patio walls and install the plumbing for the building. The workshop space is now open to the public and hosts weekly, no-cost painting workshops for local children.  

This project was initiated by solidarity groups based out of Edmonton, AB (Canada). Casa is very happy to have been a part of the effort.
