Two groups led by Companeros in association with Casa Canadiense provided $15,000 for much needed infrastructural renovations to the Barrio El Recreo project Generando Vida.  

Generando Vida is a community based project in El Recreo, one of Managua's more marginalized neighborhoods. It continues to serve the community through an impressive program of Micro-credit initiatives, health care services, and educational programming for youth and seniors.
