Casa Canadiense's main raison d'etre is to operate a community development centre in Nicaragua for the purpose of promoting and supporting local development projects aimed at alleviating poverty and improving the educational, health, cultural and/or economic conditions of local people.

In order to meet our mission, we promote in Canada knowledge about and support for local community development in Nicaragua. We do this through our educational programming and publications.
